Sydney Camera Hire’s Nanlite PavoTube II RGBWW Tubes x 2 light kit have expanded and more precise colour temperature range from 2700K-12000K with green to magenta adjustment, an average CRI of 97, an average TLCI of 98, plus full-spectrum RGB hue and saturation control, the PavoTube II 60X 8′ RGBWW LED Pixel Tube packs studio-quality lighting into a hardy, portable package.
Nanlite drew on the feedback from PavoTube owners across the world to evolve their LED Tube design. Enhancements include brighter output from a larger illumination area with more uniform diffusion, an upgraded control panel with locking buttons, DMX compatibility, and enhanced app control.
Powered by an internal 8800mAh Li-ion battery, the Sydney Camera Hire’s PavoTube II 60X can run for 1 hour and 57 minutes at full brightness completely untethered. Battery recharge is achieved with the included AC adapter, which can also keep the PavoTube II 60X powered on during longer shoots.
In addition to fifteen adjustable practical special effects, PavoTube II 60X features ten new pixel-based effects expanding the creative possibilities further than ever before. Pixel-based effects include Hue Loop, CCT Loop, INT Loop, Multi-color, Gradient, Scrolling, Marching, Flame, Rainbow, and Driving. Equipped with its native Hyper-Reflector, the 600x Pro can output 5,610 lux at 3 meters (10 feet). With the F10 Fresnel modifier, the combination can reach an illuminance of 18,5100 lux at 3 meters in 15° spot.
Similar to the LS 300x, the 600x Pro utilizes Aputure-designed color-blending optics that combines its bi-color chipset into a single cohesive light source, allowing it to be used with optical lens modifiers such as the F10 Fresnel and Spotlight Mount.
The LS 600x Pro joins the Light Storm Pro series, featuring a weather-resistant design in a Bowens Mount fixture. Using waterproof fans, sealed internal structures, rubber caps for all ports, and weatherproof connectors, the LS 600x Pro can withstand challenging inclement weather environments.
